ASML US is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our US General Accounting team. As part of the general accounting team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, contributing to the end-to-end global financial processes of our organization. This position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team, part of an international, cutting-edge organization.
Role and responsibilities
- Support the general accounting processes for US entities, ensuring month-end close procedures are timely completed and journal entries are posted with appropriate backup in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare and maintain account reconciliations, analyze general ledger monthly fluctuations and variances.
- Manage the US benefit accounting process and partner with Tax Support colleagues on sales and use tax processes and add-to-earning processes.
- Support check deposit processes
- Collaborate with both global and regional stakeholders on end-to-end process flows. Drive stakeholder management with regional controllers and end business users.
- Support the execution of SOX controls and provide expertise to overall internal control framework.
- Drive process improvements and assist on special projects.
- Comply and assist with internal and external audits by providing appropriate documentation and information, as requested.

Education and experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
- CPA and/or Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in public accounting and/or large multi-national corporations preferred.
- Experience with SAP preferred.

- Understanding of GAAP standards

- Ability to prioritize and carry critical tasks and improvements to completion.

Other information
This position is located on-site in Enter Location, i.e. Chandler, AZ . It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, training courses and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration, and innovation.
