We need a Senior Accountant to decrease the time spent on closing the books, problem solve, and improve processes to ensure accounting aligns with Pattern’s future objectives. This is a full time, hybrid role and will work from Pune, India.

What is a day in the life of a Senior Accountant?
- Completing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting with appropriate GAAP treatment
- Providing solutions to streamline/speed up month-end close
- Research accounting guidance and analyze how it affects the Company
- Completion of annual independent financial and statutory audits
- Providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, forecasts and historical financials
- Providing reporting and solutions for ad-hoc information requests
- Ensuring that effective internal controls are in place to ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, and state regulations for financial and fiscal reporting
- Supporting the Accounting Manager and working directly with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service; respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounting related activities, and utilize judgment to address or escalate issues as necessary
- Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
What will I need to thrive in this role?
- Master in Accounting required
- CA or CPA equivalent
- 5+ years public accounting in similar role
- Organized and analytical with relentless attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Self-directed, but with a natural ability and desire to work on a team
- Excellent professional communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task based on current demands
- Fluent in English
