What success looks like in this role:
In this role, you'll be recognized for:
- Maintaining highly accurate financial records and reconciliations
- Delivering timely month-end and year-end close processes
- Producing reliable financial reports and analyses that support business decisions

Here's what you will be doing
- Prepare and post journal entries with accurate general ledger classifications.
Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
Support monthly and annual financial close activities, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
Analyze financial transactions, trends, and variances to identify risks and opportunities.
Generate financial reports, management summaries, and ad hoc analyses to support business decisions.
Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and audit responses.
Recommend and help implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.
Collaborate with operational and cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and alignment.
Contribute to special projects, process improvement initiatives, and business growth efforts.
Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed.
What you must bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
At least 5+ years of accounting experience
Strong background in general ledger accounting and accounts payable processes
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential financial information
Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
Experience with internal and external audits
Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Previous experience mentoring or supervising junior accounting staff
QuickBooks experience is a plus
Skills Required
