Teams based in Fort Lauderdale collaborate across functions and regions to drive business growth, ensure compliance, and enable workforce strategy, financial governance, systems support, supplier management, and customer and business development initiatives across North America.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our U.S. General Ledger Accounting team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and partnering with Finance, AP, AR, Tax, Procurement, and Corporate Accounting teams.

Primary Role and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, depreciation, and other month-end transactions.
  • Perform account analyses, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance investigations.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
  • Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and consolidation support.
  • Assist with financial reporting and ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies.
  • Maintain fixed asset records and related accounting activities.
  • Support internal and external audits, tax reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Identify process improvements and participate in system and reporting enhancement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in general ledger accounting.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
  • Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • IFRS experience and CPA designation (or progress toward certification) are preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Information related to the position:

  • The compensation range is $80,000 to $107,000 in base salary plus an annual target bonus. 

  • The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, skills, and current market conditions.
