We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team and serve as a trusted accounting partner across our organization. You’ll work alongside Finance leaders, support multiple communities, help develop other accountants, and have a voice in improving processes and strengthening financial operations.

This isn’t a role where you simply close the books, you’ll solve problems, influence better ways of working, and help our communities succeed.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.

  • Support accounting and financial reporting for assigned Lifespace communities.

  • Serve as a go-to resource for community accountants, providing guidance, training, and problem-solving support.

  • Prepare cash, balance sheet, and income statement reconciliations.

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and financial analysis.

  • Identify accounting issues and implement stronger processes and controls.

  • Partner with Finance and operational teams across the organization.

  • Drive continuous improvement and accounting best practices.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education and experience.

  • 5+ years of accounting experience.

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP.

  • Solid general ledger, reconciliation, and month-end close experience.
