Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger,
- journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Handle MIS reporting, variance analysis, and financial insights for management
- decision-making
- Monitor and control cost accounting, including production cost analysis and cost
- optimization
- Oversee inventory accounting and valuation, ensuring accurate stock records in
- coordination with site/store teams
- Ensure timely compliance with GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS, and other statutory
- regulations
- Support and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is
- accurate and available
- Work closely with plant/site teams to track expenses, material usage, and financial
- performance
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, and track performance against targets
- Identify gaps in financial processes and implement controls and improvements
Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, costing, and financial controls
- Hands-on experience in Tally
- Good understanding of GST, taxation, and statutory compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multi-location/site accounting operations
- Strong communication skills for coordination with cross-functional teams
- High level of integrity, ownership, and attention to detail
