You will:
- Handle general ledger accounting – entering financial data, reconciling accounts, and performing month-end and year-end closing procedures;
- Manage team of 4 accountants;
- Fulfill tax obligations – preparing and submitting tax declarations (PIT, SODRA, VAT, etc.), calculating and monitoring tax compliance;
- Prepare financial statements – including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow reports, and other financial documentation and analysis;
- Manage payroll accounting – calculating salaries, taxes, and other employee-related payments;
- Collaborate with auditors and public authorities – preparing required audit documentation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations;
- Administer social subsidies – preparing documentation, submitting applications, and liaising with public institutions for subsidy accounting and compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- 2+ years of experience in accounting;
- Knowledge of Accounting and Tax Accounting reporting in Lithuania;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines;
- Experience in working with accounting software and Excel/Google Sheets.
