Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to lead our accounting team in Jacksonville, Florida.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with both GAAP and income tax basis of accounting.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
• Manage a small local team of accountants
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the position.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience & Technical Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
