About The Role

As the Senior Accountant at Nature’s Bakery, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with US GAAP, and supporting month-end close and internal control processes. You bring strong technical accounting expertise, excellent analytical skills, and experience with ERP systems and other accounting software tools. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with team members at all levels, and have the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities. Most importantly, you’re passionate about driving process improvements and creating efficiencies that make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, monthly close processes, settling monthly intercompany receivables & payables.
• Record acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation of fixed assets
• Perform complex and bank and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and accounting policies
• Oversee Concur review and approvals, monthly billing & accruals
• Maintain and enhance accounting systems, processes, and documentation
• Support internal and external audits: ensure ongoing compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with policies related to ethics, confidentiality, and safety
• Perform additional accounting tasks and special projects as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
• Identify process improvement opportunities within accounting workflows and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP
• Hands-on experience with S4HANA, Concur, and OneStream preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including complex formulas, PivotTables, and Power Query
• Power Query experience is required; Power BI experience is preferred but not required
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
