As the Senior Accountant at VulcanForms Inc., you will support core accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, analyzing financial data, and supporting inventory and cost accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments as part of the monthly close process.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying and resolving variances.
- Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for key balance sheet accounts.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and management analyses.
- Assist with ERP system processes, data validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, and other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Provide audit support by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
- Help maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls to support accurate financial reporting.
- Perform additional accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of general accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, Epicor preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reconciliations.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

The annual base salary range for this position is $80,805.00 to $111,106.00.
