POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Senior Accountant to join the accounting team and assist with general accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant plays a critical role in providing timely and accurate financial information to support business decisions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute month-end and year-end close including preparing and posting journal entries
- Review financial documents and data to ensure consistency and accuracy across reporting systems
- Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
- Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and perform other duties as assigned
- Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Must have strong organizational skills, be detail oriented, a team player, and able to consistently meet or beat deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with the Microsoft Suite of Products, including Excel and Word
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Accounting/Finance degree required.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required.
- Inventory Accounting in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience with ERP system is strongly preferred.
- Professional certification (CPA) is preferred.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, Master’s degree in Accounting preferred
Minimum Experience Required
- Five (5) years of related experience
- Experience in QAD and/or OneStream a plus, prior experience in AR and metal accounting preferred
