Position: Senior Accountant
Pay Range: $85,000 - $110,000 PER YR
Reporting To: Controller
Work Type: On-site
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for leading the accounting and financial reporting activities for assigned entities while ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the monthly close. This position prepares and reviews complex accounting transactions, financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules, provides technical accounting guidance to the accounting team, and partners with operational departments to resolve accounting issues. The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining strong internal controls, supporting audits, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
· 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
· Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge.
· Advanced Excel.
· NetSuite or comparable ERP.
· CPA preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Lead month-end close for assigned entities.
· Review Staff Accountant journal entries and reconciliations.
· Prepare entity wide reconciliation packages for review by management
· Record and provide reconciliation for AR/ Revenue posting each month.
· Perform trending analysis both for entities and department review
· Review Prepaid and Amortization Schedules.
· Perform detailed payroll review for withholdings / reissues / department coding and analysis
· Perform complex reconciliations including intercompany activity.
· Coordinate audit requests and supporting schedules.
· Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
· Mentor and train Staff Accountants.
· Partner with billing, payroll, AP and operations.
· Ability to create ROU schedules and familiar with lease accounting under ASC 842.
· Recommend process improvements.
· Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use of hands and fingers to operate computer, telephone, and keyboard on a frequent basis (up to 75% of the time).
- Close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light to moderate lifting may be required.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
- Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- NetSuite or comparable ERP experience.
- Familiarity with lease accounting under ASC 842 and ability to create ROU schedules.
- CPA.
