Senior Accountant

The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

What will you be doing?

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial reporting processes and deliver accurate, timely financial information 
• Prepare and review account reconciliations, ensuring completeness and accuracy 
• Analyze financial results and variances, identifying drivers and recommended actions 
• Anticipate potential accounting issues and proactively resolve them before escalation.
• Serve as a technical resource for staff accountants and cross-functional partners 
• Responsible for fixed asset accounting, capital project management, and depreciation schedules. 
• Manage daily cash reconciliations and related cash forecasting. 

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• 3-5 years accounting, audit, or related experience required
• Collecting and analyzing raw data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and other helpful information.
• Reviewing and improving analytics processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and security
