[Job Description]
- Responsible for the full aspects of finance spectrum for Shenzhen company
- Perform payment and collection duties on AR and AP.
- Prepare financial reporting package in accordance with local GAAP and US GAAP to the management team based in Asia and USA.
- Review of balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring adequate follow ups of outstanding items
- Handling of external audits.
- Responsible for taxation that includes coordinating with our external tax consultants to ensure accuracy of various tax reports such as VAT, corporate tax and being compliant with tax regulation
- Develop and document business workflow processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Streamlining workflow processes to enhance better productivity.
- Analyse operational costs to maximise cost efficiency
- Being a coordinator between local service providers / regulators / Financial Institutions and company employees for various finance related tasks
- Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned
[Job Requirements]
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance strongly preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of full set accounting experience
- Experience in working for an international company and multicultural environment
- Must have experience with the workings of the statutory and tax requirements
- Proficient in English & Japanese (Written/Spoken)
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel)
- Meticulous and organized
- Proactive and independent
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
