RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

• Documents financial transactions by entering accounting entries in the ERP/Accounting system.

• Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.

• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

• Substantiates financial transactions by auditable documents.

• Maintains accounting controls by adhering to policies and procedures.

• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

• Maintains financial security by following internal controls.

• Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.

• Prepares adhoc financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

• Maintains confidentiality and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

• Ensure proper tax compliance and prepare VAT, CIT and other tax returns under local tax regulations.

• Coordinate with auditor to finalise external financial audits.

• Accomplishes the result by performing the duty.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Support line Manager with special projects and workflow process improvements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting

• Qualified or Part qualified CA, CPA, ACCA or Similar

Technical Skills

• Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast -paced setting.

• Must be an advanced Excel and proficient Word user.

• Experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 user.

Personal Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills,

• Strong interpersonal and team skills required,

• Should possess attention to detail,

• Should be deadline-oriented and possess multi-tasking skills,

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality

Prior Experience

• 3 years audit and 3+ year’s prior experience in Corporate Accounting/general ledger/project accounting/project costing. Experience working in a large organization/MNC is preferred.
