What you’ll be doing
 

We are looking for individuals to play an integral role in growing our outsourced accounting practice. We serve a variety of clients across the country by performing their back office accounting functions. Simply put, our objective is to provide superior client service by executing at a level that meets Embark's lofty standards.

To be a good fit for our Senior Accountant role you will have:

• 4+ years of experience in Big 4/public accounting and/or corporate accounting

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP

• Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel

• Keen attention to detail

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written

• A high sense of urgency, strong initiative and the ability to multitask
   

Added bonus if you have:

• Operational accounting & monthly close experience

• Process and procedures documentation experience

• Financial statement preparation experience

• SEC filing exposure/experience

• Experience in multiple general ledger systems (i.e., Quickbooks, Netsuite, Sage Intacct)
