Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our e-commerce warehouse team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing various accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Your expertise will play a critical role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to the success of our e-commerce warehouse.
Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll records.
  2. Financial Analysis: Perform regular financial analysis, such as cash flow statements, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets to provide accurate financial reports and insights to management.
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring they align with organizational goals and objectives.
  4. Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit accurate tax returns, including sales tax and income tax filings, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  5. Financial Audits: Assist in the coordination and preparation of financial audits, working closely with auditors to provide necessary documentation and resolve any audit findings.
  6. Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses by reviewing and reconciling vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and company credit card transactions.
  7. Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory team to reconcile inventory counts, ensure accurate valuation, and identify and address discrepancies.
  8. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement streamlined accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  9. Compliance and Regulations: Stay updated on accounting standards, financial regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and recommend necessary changes.
  10. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as operations, purchasing, and sales, to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Fluent in English and Chinese ( For business needs)
  3. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in an e-commerce or warehousing environment.
  4. Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making.
  5. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and analysis.
  6. Proficient in Accounting Software: Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar tools. Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
  7. Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance requirements.
  8. Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  9. Problem-Solving Abilities: Proactive and solution-oriented approach to identify and resolve accounting issues and process inefficiencies.
  10. Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  11. Integrity and Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive financial information with the utmost integrity and maintain confidentiality.
