Senior Accountant (Hojiwala)

Our client is an established player in the travel and luggage products industry, with in-house manufacturing capabilities and a diverse product portfolio covering luggage, backpacks, duffles, overnighters, and other travel accessories. The company also works with reputed brands through established manufacturing and white-label partnerships.

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with strong hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, finalization, and payroll-related activities. The candidate will be responsible for managing core finance operations independently and coordinating with the company's CA and other stakeholders.

• Manage day-to-day accounting, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and financial records.
  
• Handle accounts finalization and prepare necessary work /documents for submission to the CA.
  
• Manage GST and TDS workings, compliance, and related documentation.
  
• Prepare bank reconciliations (BRS) and resolve discrepancies.
  
• Prepare monthly salary sheets, including PF, ESI, and other applicable statutory calculations.
  
• Maintain payroll and statutory records accurately and on time.
  
• Coordinate with the CA, auditors, and consultants for accounting and compliance matters.
  
• Prepare financial reports and accounting information required by management.
  
• Ensure proper documentation and accuracy across accounting and statutory records.
  

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  
• Strong hands-on experience in finalization, GST, and TDS.
  
• Good knowledge of payroll, PF, and ESI calculations.
  
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, and ability to work independently.
  
• Comfortable commuting to Hojiwala, Surat.
