The Accountant will join the Collier Accounting team and will be primarily responsible for financial accounting needs of our construction projects and assigned financial analysis.

Qualifications

Essential Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors degree in accounting and CPA a plus
  • Strong Excel skills/experience required
  • Possess sufficient knowledge of internal systems/controls to evaluate current processes
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Construction accounting knowledge a plus
  • Ability to complete complex reconciliations
  • Preparation of various financial statements and analysis reports
  • Provide an analytical review of financial results using Excel, Word or Powerpoint
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently both verbally and in writing
  • Review and approve vendor invoices for accuracy, validity and completeness
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • Willingness and ability to accept new projects as they develop
