Job Description

What you will do:

  • Review and/or prepare NAV calculations, financial statements, capital calls, distributions, investor notices, journal entries, and other private equity fund accounting deliverables while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

  • Oversee, review, and provide feedback on the work of Accountants and Junior Accountants, ensuring all client deliverables meet quality standards, SLAs, and regulatory requirements.

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, investors, and internal stakeholders, managing queries, resolving issues, escalating concerns when needed, and maintaining strong working relationships.

  • Plan, allocate, and monitor team workloads, manage workflow processes, support fund onboarding and accounting system conversions, and ensure efficient execution of operational activities.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and SSAE requirements, identify and mitigate operational risks, drive process improvements, and support team development through coaching and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

About You:

  • Graduate in Accounting or a related business discipline with 4+ years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team management role.
  • Strong knowledge of IndAS, IFRS, and US/UK/Luxembourg GAAP, with hands-on experience preparing and/or reviewing financial statements, disclosures, and working paper files.

  • Proven experience in fund accounting operations, preferably within private equity, including managing client deliverables, service operations, and team performance.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF functions), Microsoft Office applications, accounting systems (preferably Investran), and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Preferred qualifications include CPA/ACCA certification, experience in financial services/shared services and multinational environments, additional foreign language proficiency, and willingness to travel or undertake international secondments.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related business discipline
  • 4+ years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team management role
