Senior Accountant FP&A

You'll own the day-to-day of our finance function: leading the accounting team, ensuring clean monthly closes, and delivering the numbers leadership needs to make decisions. Beyond the books, you'll be the person redesigning our processes, optimizing Microsoft Dynamics, and championing AI tools to eliminate manual work across the department.

• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture.

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual closes with accuracy and speed.

• Prepare financial statements under Spanish GAAP (PGC) and deliver clear reporting and KPIs to leadership.

• Manage AP/AR, treasury, payroll reconciliation, and tax compliance.

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.

• Design and implement internal controls and scalable financial processes.

• Optimize Microsoft Dynamics to automate workflows and reduce close times.

• Champion AI-driven tools across data entry, anomaly detection, and forecasting.

Academic Background

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Master's degree or certifications (CPA, ACCA, or Spanish equivalent) are a strong plus.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years in accounting or finance, with 1-2+ years leading a team.

• Deep knowledge of Spanish PGC and tax regulations.

• Advanced Excel and hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics.

• Proven track record adopting AI tools or automation in financial workflows.

• Experience in fast-paced environments (scale-ups, tech) is highly valued.

• Builder mindset: you take ownership, ship fast, and don't wait for direction.

Communication

• Spanish fluent, English advanced.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both with financial and non-financial stakeholders, distilling complex information into actionable messages.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI-powered finance software (automated invoicing, expense management, smart forecasting).

• Experience implementing internal controls from the ground up in a growing company.
