What We’re Looking For:

A Senior Accountant, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to work closely with Corporate leadership and the Hotels to support the Company’s budgeting and forecasting process for both earnings and cash. This role helps the organization plan resources, sets expectations with internal and external stakeholders, and supports treasury operations, including cash management and ongoing reporting requirements related to banking and lending relationships. This role reports to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and maintain the annual Budget ("Business Plan") and monthly forecast calendar for the Company, and communicate timeline expectations to participants to support adequate planning and process efficiency.

  • Assist with the development and consolidation of the annual Business Plan in direct coordination with the Director, Assistant Controller, Controller and CFO, as well as the Corporate functions and individual Hotel properties.

  • Prepare and consolidate ongoing reporting and tracking of all the Company's full year operating results and track results against the Business Plan and updated forecasts, which could include drafting commentary to Executive Leadership Team and parent company.

  • Prepare monthly cash forecast to monitor the cash balance for bank regulation compliance, as well as funding needs, which requires coordination with all departments across the organization, as well as the Hotel properties.

  • Responsible for coordinating and consolidating the long-term forecasting process. Develop multi-year forecast for the management company, as well as actively work with the Hotels to consolidate results and provide guidance as needed.

  • Work in direct coordination with key company executives across all functional departments, including the CFO, COO, CCO, CHRO etc., to accurately align required capital spend, operating expenses, and projected cash flows.

  • Serve as a point of contact for the updated lease standard and oversee the system used to track and record the Company’s lease portfolio (“LeaseQuery”), including generation of monthly journal entries.

  • Prepare monthly debt summary.

  • Review debt covenants in relation to actual and forecasted results to monitor for potential defaults and communicate with the entire Finance function to manage this compliance and underlying reporting.

  • Serve as a point of contact for lender reporting. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual debt reporting to send to the Company’s lenders, as required in underlying loan documents.

  • Prepare I/C loan entries and prepare budget and forecast for intercompany interest.

  • Assist with a variety of Treasury functions, when needed, including approving and initiating wire transfers, managing investment accounts, and preparing daily cash reports.

  • Assist in the preparation of annual bank reporting.

  • Assist in the accounts payable process, as needed, to ensure overlap and continuity of responsibilities within the Controller function.

  • Create ad hoc reports, as requested by Company leadership, for the Business Plan, monthly forecasts and multi-year forecasts.

  • Provide monthly reports to show actual results versus those that were forecasted.

  • Provide monthly reports for reporting system forecasted results.

  • Assists in preparation of quarterly and annual schedules for parent company (Commitments / Leases / Debt etc.) to allow for formulation of external disclosures.

  • Liase with entire organization on forecasting processes and other Corporate finance tasks to ensure integrity, efficiency and effectiveness of the process on an ongoing basis.

  • Perform accounting research, as needed, on new transactions or new accounting guidance to ensure the Company consistently complies with GAAP and specialized hospitality accounting.

  • Assist Director in complex accounting areas, including preparation of underlying calculations and journal entries.

  • Prepare journal entries and budget support related to the use of the private plane.

  • Coordinate with legal to prepare quarterly board minutes.

  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards.

  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.

  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field required.

  • 3+ years’ accounting experience required, public accounting background preferred.

  • CPA certification preferred.

  • Strong operational knowledge of US GAAP.

  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (Oracle preferred).

  • Familiarity with Oracle PBCS (as user or auditor).

  • Prior experience in hospitality or related industry preferred.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continual improvement.

  • Mix of public and private accounting experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Ability to balance independent work with collaboration across teams.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy, accountability, and strong follow-through.

Salary range for this position, based on experience, is $84,000.00 to $105,000.00.
