As an Sr Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analysing financial statements for our US clients. Whether performing record to report (r2r) function or leveraging the power of advanced data analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation; you bring your passion and hands-on to this role and go above and beyond in providing our clients seamless accounting and bookkeeping.
Responsibilities:
- Manage record to report (R2R) processes, demonstrating expertise in the QuickBooks accounting cycle.
- Collect, process, and deliver accurate information for strategic, financial, and operational reporting.
- Expert in posting, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare cash forecasting statements and provide support for month-end closing and statutory/tax audits.
- Deliver consistently high-quality service, meeting client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and timelines.
- Act as a trusted advisor, serving as the main contact point for clients to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with Operations and Product teams to analyze data and streamline/automate accounting processes.
- Drive process improvement projects, implementing simplifications and enhanced controls.
Requirements
- At least 4-7 years of relevant experience. Having prior experience of automating accounting processes is an added advantage.
- Inter CA, CFA, ICWA, Management accounting inter / Diploma in IFRS
- Mastery of accounting software QuickBooks and knowledge of applications integrated to it. QuickBooks certified ProAdvisor / Advanced certification preferred.
- Strong domain knowledge and solid foundation of bookkeeping, accounting & financial procedures for US (GAAP).
- Certified IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) is an added advantage.
- High emotional quotient, excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with cross functional global teams while multitasking several clients / projects. Experience working with US clients is an added advantage.
- Open to working in rotational shifts.
