The Services Senior Accountant - Enterprise Business Services is responsible for the accounting and balance sheet reconciliations for various North American accounting activities, which will include participating in the month end close process for all North American locations with an emphasis on inventory accounting activities. Responsibilities will include partnering with multiple internal departments including finance, accounting, and plant operations teams at all Mosaic North American production locations as well as third party service providers to prepare, maintain, and ensure the integrity of all Mosaic inventory monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
What will you do?
Partner with various internal stakeholders to ensure the accurate completion of monthly close activities, which will include journal entries, allocations, cost center reviews, reconciliations, and warehouse accruals.
Accounting for North American inventory balance sheet activities.
Responsible for the monthly preparation and maintenance of support of inventory balance sheet reconciliations and adherence to established monthly deadlines.
Maintain the integrity of the North American inventory balance sheet account by following established SOX controls.
Act as primary contact for North American production sites and third-party service providers. Partner with site finance teams and plant operations teams at all Mosaic North American operating locations to ensure accurate costing and reporting, which will include providing strong customer service.

What do you need for this role?
Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, or Business with emphasis in Accounting or Finance required.
5+ years of accounting experience
Excellent understanding and familiarity with GAAP and the ability to apply these principles in practice.
Strong working knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and practices.
Broad understanding of internal controls.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead through influence and network.
Ability to work with employees at all levels within the organization.
