Senior Accountant

We're seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. In this role, you'll help ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial results for a multi-billion-dollar organization while partnering with teams across the business.
This position offers the opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of accounting activities, including financial reporting, month-end close, process improvement initiatives, ERP systems, and audit support. You'll play a key role in maintaining strong financial controls, improving processes, and helping drive operational excellence across the organization.

What You'll Do
Accounting Operations & Month-End Close
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules as part of the month-end close process.
- Partner with corporate, plant, and operational teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Perform corporate close activities, including interface journal uploads, allocations, and account analysis across multiple legal entities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support for journal entries, including appropriate approvals and compliance requirements.
- Support accounting areas such as intercompany transactions, insurance accounting, incentives, accruals, legal reserves, and other corporate accounting functions.
- Manage and maintain the chart of accounts within our financial systems.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and research requests for corporate departments.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Support monthly financial reporting and consolidation activities.
- Assist with management reporting, variance analysis, and financial statement preparation.
- Help maintain compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with internal and external auditors by providing schedules, documentation, and financial analysis.
Process Improvement & ERP Initiatives
- Participate in ERP enhancement and implementation projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and controls.
- Help drive efficiencies through automation, standardization, and best practices.
- Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives as needed.

What We're Looking For
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification strongly preferred.
Experience
We're open to individuals who bring a combination of public accounting and industry experience, including:
- 5+ years of accounting experience in a large, complex organization, or
- A mix of public accounting and corporate accounting experience.
Preferred experience includes:
- Manufacturing or consumer products environments.
- Multi-entity accounting structures.
- Large-scale ERP platforms such as Oracle, M3, Adage, or similar systems.
- General ledger accounting and month-end close responsibilities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience working with ERP systems and accounting software.
