The Role
Core Financial Outsourcing is Now Hiring: Senior Accountant, Client Services (Full-Time, Hybrid, Doylestown, PA)
Core Financial Outsourcing is not your average accounting firm! We are a bookkeeping, accounting, tax and consulting firm located in Doylestown, PA. We provide our services both onsite and virtually for a wide variety of clients with no particular focus on any one industry. What that means for our team is responsibility for many different types of accounting tasks rather than just focusing on only one area of the whole accounting picture.
What You'll Do:
The Senior Accountant, Client Services plays a key role in managing multiple client engagements, providing strategic financial support, and overseeing various accounting responsibilities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
  • Manage AP and AR processes, maintaining and updating the general ledger, prepare adjusting journal entries, and manage bank and account reconciliations
  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements, conduct financial statement analysis (budget vs. actuals, prior year comparisons, trends), and assist with cash flow forecasting
  • Handle 1099 preparation, support audit processes, and contribute to special projects as needed
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing financial insights, identifying areas for improvement, and addressing client inquiries
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles and assist with tax filings, audits, and regulatory requirements as needed
  • Utilize and optimize accounting software and financial tools to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. 
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting in an accountant function
  • Experience working in public accounting firm or financial services industry
  • Strong proficiency in knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel
  • Experience using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online are preferred; any other accounting systems are a plus
  • Strong understanding of internal control systems and compliance
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skill​​​​​​​
