Senior Accountant – Canada

We are searching for a Senior Accountant to lead our Canadian operations!
How you’ll make a difference:
- Lead and manage monthly close activities for the Canadian market, including reconciliations, financial analysis, and reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop the annual Canadian market budget, providing key insights to influence financial outcomes.
- Support and oversee the Canadian finance team with analysis and other accounting-related activities.
- Lead implementation and upgrades of financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Design, implement, and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with Canadian accounting regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and spearheading process optimization.
How you will win:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and a CPA (Canada) designation is a strong plus.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in a Canadian context.
- Deep understanding of Canadian tax regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bilingualism (English/French) is a plus.
- Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is an asset.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis.
