The Role

About the role

As an Experienced Customer Partner, you are the single accountable leader for customer value, profitable account growth and long-term account health. You own the executive relationship and the account strategy, aligning customer priorities, stakeholder expectations, growth opportunities, commercial performance, delivery confidence, innovation and partner capabilities into one coherent plan.

This is broader than a traditional sales or account management role. You will combine strategic relationship leadership, consultative selling, commercial ownership and executive oversight of delivery. You will mobilize the right expertise across Kyndryl, including Consulting, Delivery, Architecture, Practices, AI, hyperscalers and alliance partners, to turn customer priorities into funded initiatives and measurable outcomes.

What you will do
Lead customer success and executive relationships

·   Own the strategic customer relationship and act as the executive point of accountability for customer value, satisfaction, advocacy and reference ability.

·   Build and deepen trusted relationships with CIO, CTO, CISO and business leaders, extending engagement beyond IT where relevant.

·   Translate the customer’s strategy, business priorities and technology agenda into a living account plan with clear outcomes, stakeholders, risks, renewals and growth opportunities.

·   Bring relevant industry insight and constructive challenge to executive conversations, helping customers navigate complex transformation choices.

·   Ensure material delivery or relationship issues are owned, escalated and resolved through the appropriate Kyndryl teams.

Drive profitable growth and commercial performance

·   Develop and execute a customer growth strategy aligned with the customer’s strategic priorities and Kyndryl’s value proposition.

·   Create demand, qualify opportunities and lead priority pursuits from early shaping through proposal, negotiation and closure.

·   Expand existing work into new scope and capabilities while protecting renewals and minimizing erosion.

·   Own account financial performance, including revenue, signings, margin, profitability, backlog, pipeline and forecast discipline.

·   Use commercial judgement to balance customer value, competitive positioning, risk and sustainable profitability.

Orchestrate Kyndryl and the partner ecosystem

·   Bring together Consulting, Delivery, Architecture, Solutioning, Practices, AI, Kyndryl Bridge, Finance, Legal, Commercial and partner teams around customer outcomes.

·   Engage hyperscalers, strategic alliances and technology partners to strengthen propositions and accelerate customer value.

·   Personally shape strategic opportunities, executive value reviews, innovation workshops and cross-Kyndryl account plays.

·   Maintain clear governance from opportunity qualification through contracting, transition and service run, with strong use of CRM and data-driven account management.

Lead with integrity and develop the account team

·   Create an inclusive, accountable and high-performing account culture in which teams understand the customer outcomes they support.

·   Mentor account team members and developing Customer Partners in executive engagement, commercial judgement and account discipline.

·   Ensure contractual, regulatory and internal compliance requirements are understood and actively managed.

·   Role-model Kyndryl’s values and represent the company with credibility, transparency and integrity.

What success looks like

·   Stronger and broader executive relationships, with Kyndryl recognized as a trusted and outcome-focused partner.

·   A customer-aligned account plan that translates priorities into an actionable, qualified growth agenda.

·   Sustainable year-on-year growth, healthy pipeline coverage, protected renewals and improved account profitability.

·   High customer satisfaction, delivery confidence, referenceable outcomes and compelling win stories.

·   Effective orchestration of Kyndryl and partner capabilities, resulting in differentiated and commercially viable solutions.

·   A diverse, engaged and capable account team with clear accountability and strong leadership.

Required skills and experience

·   Significant senior experience, typically 15+ years, in strategic account leadership, complex enterprise sales, consulting-led growth or client partnership roles within technology or IT services.

·   Demonstrated ownership of account P&L and a strong track record of profitable revenue growth, opportunity conversion, renewals and margin management.

·   Proven ability to build trusted C-level relationships and influence senior stakeholders across technology and business functions.

·   Experience developing and executing account strategies for complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise customers.

·   Strong consultative selling, opportunity management, negotiation and executive communication skills.

·   Ability to orchestrate multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams without relying solely on formal authority.

·   Sound understanding of technology-enabled transformation, including cloud, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, data and AI, digital workplace and managed services.

·   High commercial and financial acumen, with disciplined use of CRM, pipeline, forecasting and account governance.

·   Fluent professional English. French fluency is expected for customer engagement in France.

Who You Are

·   Experience in banking, financial services or another highly regulated industry.

·   Established network and executive credibility within large French or international enterprises.

·   Experience shaping and closing complex, multi-practice or ecosystem-led transformation engagements.
