About the Role

As a Senior Account Manager, you will partner closely with Sales to build strong relationships with CPGs, retailers, and shopper marketing teams. You will take ownership of the post-sale campaign lifecycle, delivering strategic insights and thought leadership to drive client success. As a player/coach, you will balance individual contributor and leadership responsibilities, mentoring and guiding team members to achieve their goals. This position provides the opportunity to work with key stakeholders across the company while deepening your expertise in the CPG industry. Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the post-sale campaign workflow, serving as the primary contact for both new and existing CPG, retailer and shopper marketing clients
  • Partner with Account Executives to execute Chicory campaigns, ensuring smooth delivery and revenue retention
  • Collaborate with Sales Planners to review RFPs and provide historical insights to enhance proposal quality and accuracy
  • Build and grow client relationships, managing multiple projects while contributing to strategic initiatives
  • Develop expertise in digital media measurement, confidently leading client conversations about sales metrics and effectively articulate methodologies and results
  • Lead final campaign report meetings, delivering actionable insights, recommendations and opportunities for campaign renewals
  • Stay informed on industry trends to integrate best practices into client strategies and communications
  • Drive internal efficiencies and participate in discussions to streamline and standardize departmental processes
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to create effective training materials and client facing resources
  • Act as a player/coach to support and mentor junior Account Managers while balancing individual contributions
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME), sharing best practices, offering guidance and fostering team collaboration to enhance overall team performance
  • Partner with Account Management Director to onboard and train new Account Managers to ensure team success and integration to the team
  • Build upon team and company culture and act as a champion of Chicory Values & Principles

Qualifications

  • Experience in digital media, account management, advertising or related field
  • Proven track record managing post sale campaigns and client relationships
  • Knowledge of digital media measurement including sales metrics and campaign analytics
  • Ability to lead client facing highlighting insights that drive client success
  • Skilled in interpreting campaign performance data and translating into recommendations
  • Experience acting as a player/coach, mentoring junior team members and while contributing individually
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage clients and collaborate with internal teams

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 annually.
Location: New York/Hybrid or Remote
