WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE?
The Senior Account Manager is the bridge between Client and the wider Incubeta team. They support Account Directors from a more day to day account management perspective, effectively overseeing all campaigns and solutions from outset to completion ensuring that all requirements are delivered, and where possible, exceeded.
The Senior Account Manager must develop and foster healthy & effective working relationships with all key Client contacts, as well as with all internal team members who play a part in delivering successful services and solutions.
They own the day to day management of client accounts; attending meetings & sharing minutes, taking and circulating briefs, managing projects to ensure that milestones are met, managing internal and external communications, billing and admin.

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for the smooth running and successful management of the Client’s business across all relevant services, to ensure that all of Incubeta’s campaigns, digital solutions and projects are delivered timeously, efficiently and successfully.
The ideal candidate will be able to successfully understand the client’s business, as well as Incubeta’s service and solution offering, in order to interrogate client requests and translate them into workable briefs for our delivery team. They will be able to form deep and collaborative relationships with the Client as well as internally, and they will have a passion for delivering successful solutions that move the needle for our Client’s business as well as our own.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships at a senior level.
- Understand clients' business objectives and develop tailored digital marketing strategies.
- Conduct regular client meetings to review campaign performance and discuss future strategies.
- Ability to manage account escalations both internally and externally.
- Campaign Management:
- Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g SEO, Google Ads, GMP, social media and creative enablement).
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Manage budgets and ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., creative, content, paid media) to ensure campaign success.
- Responsible and accountable for ensuring that campaigns are executed on brief and drive planned performance results, pivoting if required in order to ensure that client’s performance targets are met.
- Strategy Development:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for clients.
- Develop and present comprehensive digital marketing strategies to clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging digital marketing technologies.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Prepare detailed performance reports and ensure that client reporting dashboards are maintained and accurate.
- Analyze data to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Use insights to refine and optimize ongoing campaigns.
- Lead, Drive, Develop and present key client reporting engagements (Select Campaigns, Quarterly Review & Annual Reviews) in person.
- Client Education and Support:
- Educate clients on digital marketing best practices and emerging trends.
- Provide training and support on digital marketing tools and platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within an agency environment.
- Proven track record of managing, advising and optimizing digital marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability in an active client facing environment, with proven ability to manage and grow relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to recognize opportunities and drive opportunities that will add value and impact to client accounts.
- Own transport and driver’s license
Skills
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, display advertising).
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, SEMrush, HubSpot).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
