We are looking for:

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our Managed Services department to support our Live Events operational pod.

The Senior Account Manager acts as a link between the company and clients to ensure that their needs are being met and that they're satisfied with the work that Advanced Systems Group provides to them.

This role reports directly to the Sr. Director of Managed Services and collaborates with the Resource Manager, the Finance Manager, and the rest of the business pod team.

The ideal candidate resides in California as this role requires frequent travel to Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Builds strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers.
  • Collaborates with members of the business pod team and various other internal departments, i.e. Human Resources, Resource Operations, Finance, etc., to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests.
  • Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.
  • Identifies and analyzes client preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
  • Works closely with clients to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.
  • Resolves client complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient account operations.
  • Collaborates with MS leadership and executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies.
  • Tracks and reports on client data, including revenue, project types, hiring, and forecasting
  • Drafts, negotiates, and executes client SOWS.
  • Manages client POs, ensuring timely invoicing
  • Manages client rate sheets and ensures we are providing the right service model for the client's business needs
  • Works with the Finance Manager, oversees and monitors client budget, flagging potential changes.
  • Forecasts client needs and fluctuations in business.
  • Works with Resource Manager to ensure quality talent is provided to the client in a timely manner.
  • Identifies and pursues new business opportunities, both within current client teams and with new clients.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Hospitality Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of professional experience in sales and account management.
  • 5 years of professional experience in filmmaking, video production, audio production, and/or live events.
  • An exceptional record of sales leadership experience.
  • Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of how to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Proven supervisory and leadership experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Managed Services industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel within the US up to 25%.

Compensation & Benefits:

This role offers a base salary of $150,000-$160,000 depending on experience.
