Build your career at Iress!

Turn trusted client relationships into lasting growth across the trading markets.

We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager to own and grow strategic Trading client relationships across ANZ. Based in Sydney and reporting to the Head of Commercial, ANZ, you’ll be the senior commercial partner clients rely on to understand their priorities, connect them with the right Iress expertise and help them get more value from our Global Trading and Market Data products.

This is a role for someone who can move confidently between executive conversations and the detail of day-to-day client needs. You’ll protect and grow recurring revenue, uncover opportunities to deepen partnerships, and bring the client and market perspective back into Iress. Your work will help shape practical outcomes for clients—and the future of our commercial relationships.

Some of the amazing things you’ll be involved in
  • Own a portfolio of strategic Trading clients, building trusted relationships from operational and execution teams through to executive leadership.
  • Develop clear account plans and a proactive engagement rhythm, including relationship reviews, executive briefings and business or steering meetings.
  • Protect and grow recurring revenue through strong retention, renewals, increased product adoption, and relevant upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Lead or support commercial negotiations, licensing discussions and renewals; maintain a healthy, well-qualified pipeline and accurate forecasts.
  • Help clients implement, embed and optimise GTMD products—translating product features, releases and technical concepts into business value.
  • Bring the right Iress teams together to progress client projects, resolve complex issues and deliver on commitments.
  • Share client and market insight with Product & Development and other teams to inform product improvements, propositions and go-to-market activity.
  • Build your network across the financial markets industry, stay close to trading trends and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing commercial team.

What you will bring
  • Demonstrated success in account management, relationship management or a comparable commercial role in financial services or financial markets technology.
  • A strong understanding of trading environments, including relevant business practices, workflows and technology needs.
  • Experience working with funds management, asset management, broking or related financial markets organisations.
  • A track record of retaining clients, growing revenue, expanding solutions and delivering against commercial targets.
  • Confidence building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives; strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
  • Commercial and financial acumen, with the judgement to connect client priorities to sustainable outcomes for both the client and Iress.
  • The ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, navigate complex issues and keep multiple stakeholders and priorities moving.
  • A disciplined, organised approach to account planning, CRM, pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Curiosity about products, technology and market developments, with the ability to explain complex ideas in clear, relevant terms.
  • A practical, adaptable and client-first mindset, underpinned by integrity, accountability and a commitment to strong service.

Why work with us?
  • 8 additional paid days per year to extend your weekends
  • Hybrid working
  • Generous cash bonus for every successful referral
  • Starting school leave - 8.5 days of leave to assist your children with the transition to school
  • Up to 26 weeks’ paid parental leave for primary carers (up to 4 weeks for secondary carers), and the ability to work part-time when returning to work
  • 3 days’ paid leave per year to participate in charity initiatives
  • Discounted health insurance premiums
  • Access to learning and development programs through LinkedIn Learning
