Brunswick Group’s Investor Brand practice is recruiting for a Senior Account Manager in London.

We are looking for a confident and highly organised client manager who can independently run smaller engagements and substantial workstreams within larger programmes. You will build trusted day-to-day client relationships, keep complex work moving and support Account Directors and Partners on larger programmes.

Investor Brand has three core engines: Financial Communications, Strategic Events and Corporate Brand. These are underpinned by our Film & Live and Design capabilities. The work is varied, from results, M&A and other significant investor moments to naming, rebrands, employee engagement campaigns, annual and ESG reporting, film, content and live experiences.

The Senior Account Manager is part of our wider account management team. You will work directly on corporate brand and creative projects, while also supporting account teams across Financial Communications and Strategic Events. You will work closely with account colleagues, Partners, strategists, designers, producers and project managers. The role has no formal line-management responsibility.

About the Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Client and account management

  • Independently manage day-to-day client relationships on smaller engagements and defined workstreams, and support Account Directors and Partners on the largest programmes.
  • Build a strong understanding of each client’s business, stakeholders and communications priorities.
  • Turn client requests into clear briefs, actions and decisions, seeking senior input where the strategic or commercial judgement requires it.
  • Plan and run client meetings, status calls and presentations, with accurate follow-up and dependable ownership of next steps.
  • Coordinate feedback and approvals, manage expectations and raise risks or sensitive issues early.
  • Work as an active member of the wider account management team, sharing client intelligence, actions and opportunities rather than operating as a separate project function.

Integrated brand and creative delivery

  • Manage projects and workstreams across Financial Communications, Strategic Events and Corporate Brand, with regular involvement in corporate brand and creative work.
  • Work across assignments including naming, rebrands, employee engagement campaigns, annual and ESG reporting, results, M&A, film and live events.
  • Coordinate strategists, designers, writers, producers and other specialists so the team has a clear brief, timely inputs and shared priorities.
  • Work closely with project management on scopes, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risks and dependencies, with clear ownership between the disciplines.
  • Support discovery, stakeholder engagement, creative reviews, production and launch, keeping the client informed and the work connected.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality control across briefs, presentations, status materials and client-ready deliverables, and keep multiple workstreams moving at pace.

Commercial development and growth

  • Support and, where appropriate, lead proposals, pitch materials, credentials and chemistry meetings.
  • Help develop clear scopes of work, fees and delivery approaches with Account Directors, Partners and project managers.
  • Track scope, budget and resource use with the project management team, and flag changes or pressure points early.
  • Identify follow-on needs and wider client opportunities, and raise them with the relevant account lead.
  • Contribute to account plans, pipeline updates, case studies and practice-wide new business activity.

Collaboration and practice contribution

  • Build strong working relationships across account management, Investor Brand, Brunswick’s advisory teams and the wider global firm.
  • Bring a practical, solutions-focused approach and communicate clearly when priorities, decisions or responsibilities are unclear.
  • Share useful knowledge and support colleagues through project work, while continuing to develop your own strategic and commercial judgement.
  • Contribute ideas and learning that improve our client experience, our offers and the way multidisciplinary teams work together.
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong experience in account or client management within a brand, design, creative or corporate communications agency or consultancy.
  • A track record of independently managing projects or substantial workstreams from brief through delivery.
  • Experience in corporate brand, identity or creative campaigns, with exposure to Employee Engagement, Annual & ESG Reporting, film, content, investor communications or events an advantage.
  • Confident and credible with clients, including the ability to listen well, ask good questions and communicate clear recommendations.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of the wider objective.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including briefs, proposals, status updates and presentations.
  • Sound commercial awareness and experience working with scopes, budgets and change control.
  • A good understanding of how strategy, design, content and production come together to deliver effective corporate communications.
  • A collaborative, proactive and calm working style, with the confidence to raise issues early and ask for support when needed.
  • Experience in a leading agency environment, or with listed and high-profile organisations, is desirable but not essential.
