We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Account Manager to manage and grow our established Food & Beverage customer base while identifying new business opportunities across the region.
This is a rare opportunity to join a market-leading organization and work with a portfolio that includes well-known multinational and local food and beverage manufacturers. You will be responsible for:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key customer accounts, providing end-to-end service and support in line with agreed service levels.
- Conduct site visits, including basic technical activities such as chemical dosing checks, equipment calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Deliver product and safety training to customer teams.
- Monitor customer inventory levels and coordinate timely stock replenishment.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer operations through new products, technologies, and sustainability initiatives.
- Conduct business reviews and drive growth within existing accounts while securing new business opportunities.
- Develop and present commercial proposals and technical solutions.
- Build strong customer relationships and convert prospects into long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in account management, technical sales, or business development, with a strong track record of managing large corporate and strategic accounts.
- A degree or diploma in a scientific or technical discipline, such as Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder influencing skills, with the ability to engage audiences at all levels.
- Sound mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and communicate technical solutions effectively.
- A proactive, self-motivated professional who thrives in an autonomous environment and is comfortable taking on leadership responsibilities when required.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively across multiple functions and teams.
- Full Australian working rights and a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
