We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Manager – Partnership Management (m/w/d) to lead the activation and management of key commercial partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sponsorship management, client relationship building, and delivering strategic value to partners in the sports and entertainment industry. You will play a crucial role in ensuring WRC’s partners achieve their marketing objectives while driving revenue growth for WRC Promoter GmbH.
Job Description
Partner Management & Relationship Building
- Manage and develop relationships with key WRC commercial partners, ensuring long-term value and satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for partners, coordinating activation plans, branding initiatives, and contractual obligations.
Strategic & Sponsorship
- Develop and implement creative and strategic activation programmes that align with partner objectives and enhance brand visibility within WRC.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing partnerships and contribute to the overall sponsorship growth strategy.
Performance Analysis & Contract Management
- Monitor and analyse partnership performance, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Oversee the negotiation and renewal of partnership agreements, ensuring mutual value creation.
Event & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Manage partner hospitality programmes, VIP experiences, and event activations during WRC events worldwide.
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, media rights, event operations, and digital to ensure seamless delivery of partnership commitments.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in partnership marketing and motorsport sponsorship.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in partnership management, sponsorship activation, or client services within the sports or entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of motorsport, media rights, and brand marketing.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to travel internationally and work flexible hours, including weekends during event periods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and partnership reporting platforms.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (especially German, French, or Spanish) are a plus.
