How You Make a Difference

As a (Senior) Account Manager Mobile, you will be responsible for managing a small yet important client portfolio within the mobile sector, with a strong focus on building long-lasting customer relationships and generating new business opportunities. You will work closely with internal teams, such as the forecast planner and channel marketer, to help develop strategic plans and optimize processes. You will have the chance to achieve your own results and make a valuable contribution to the success of the team. You will visit clients on-site and play a key role in enhancing commercial efficiency. You think proactively, can shift gears quickly, and always aim for maximum results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management & Account Management: Build strong, lasting relationships with existing clients and take responsibility for expanding the client portfolio within the mobile sector, with a focus on new business development for emerging companies.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the forecast planner and channel marketer to develop commercial plans that are optimized both internally and externally.
  • Sales Performance: Set ambitious sales targets and work hard to achieve them, using data analysis and market insights to optimize your strategy.
  • Client Visits & Networking: Regularly plan and execute client visits, maintaining relationships and creating new opportunities by listening to customer needs and translating them into actionable steps.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and regularly report progress, analyze results, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Your Team

You will become part of a close-knit and dynamic team of 8 professionals, with a focus on key accounts, wearables, accessories, and the development of new business. As a (Senior) Account Manager Mobile, you will be the 9th member of the team and play a crucial role in the team’s future growth.

As our new (Senior) Account Manager Mobile, you bring a strategic mindset and a strong drive to achieve results in the dynamic mobile sector. You excel in building long-term relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your ambition and ability to adapt quickly ensure success in a fast-paced environment. With a focus on analyzing data and leveraging market insights, you consistently deliver tangible outcomes while maintaining a proactive and results-driven approach.

We also request:

  • A completed HBO or University degree, preferably in an economic field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in account management, ideally within the mobile or consumer electronics sector.
  • Strong social and communication skills, allowing you to build and maintain relationships at various levels.
  • Affinity with the mobile sector and consumer electronics is a strong plus.
  • A proactive work attitude, capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
  • Availability for a full-time (40 hours per week) role.
