Senior Account Manager (Business Management)

MGO is seeking a highly organized and client-focused Senior Account Manager to join our growing Business Management team. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a relationship-driven environment and enjoys serving as a trusted advisor to successful individuals, executives, entrepreneurs, and closely held businesses, particularly within the Entertainment, Sports, and Media industries.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will oversee day-to-day financial operations for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service. You will partner closely with clients and their advisors, providing financial insight, managing accounting activities, and proactively addressing complex business and financial matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping activities, including daily, monthly, and annual accounting processes.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, cash flow reports, journal entries, and financial schedules.
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and 1099 reporting.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, vendors, banking institutions, and external advisors.
- Identify and resolve accounting issues, discrepancies, and non-routine transactions.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting.
- Deliver exceptional client service through professional communication and responsiveness.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of business management, accounting, or bookkeeping experience.
- Prior experience with a CPA firm or business management firm preferred.
- Proficiency with Datafaction Imaging and AgilLink preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships while maintaining attention to detail.
- Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000
