Job Title:Senior Account Manager - AgPI

Summary:This position covers commercial responsibilities of AgPI (Agriculture & Process Industry) business covering all the commercial related activities in Japan. As a member of Japan Performance Additives Commercial Team, the position is expected to deliver consistent business growth in Japan.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work towards agreed yearly commercial plan in order to continuously grow AgPI business while ensuring the alignment with the overall Japan
  • Collaborate with internal departments (such as Customer Services, Finance, Product Stewardship, and Supply Chain...) to realize AgPI business target
  • Maintain updated knowledge of company products and services
  • Translate global regional growth strategies into short- and longer-term actions
  • Manage company’s various ERP systems(Daily working IT systems) on demand forecast, new customer and project entry and tracking, pricing and other data relating to routine commercial operation
  • Collect and analyzing data to learn more about consumer behavior
  • Keep accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes
  • Resolve complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes
  • Identify industry trends through market research and customer interactions

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience demonstrating an ability to increase sales in Chemical companies
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field.
  • Prefer the experience on release agent application.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Japanese & English.
  • Japanese: Fluent; English: Intermediate (TOEIC 600-750/CEFR B1)
  • Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer and distributor management skill
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
  • Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends.
  • Extensive, accurate product knowledge.
  • Experience in using multiple ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  MBA and master education or experience may be preferred.
