Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Account Executive to join our Records Information Management (RIM) Sales team.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving net new sales and revenue growth from prospective and existing customer accounts within your assigned industry vertical by executing strategic account plans and complex solution selling.
You will join a high-performing, collaborative team focused on expanding Iron Mountain's footprint, leveraging cross-functional internal resources, and delivering high-value information management solutions to enterprise clients.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Strategic Account Management: Develop and implement comprehensive business plans to expand Iron Mountain's footprint, continuously prospecting to secure net new clients and grow existing accounts.
Solution Selling & Value Creation: Assess unique customer needs to position alternative, value-driven solutions, clearly articulating Iron Mountain's competitive advantages, strengths, and pricing models.
Executive Relationship Cultivation: Build and influence strong relationships with customer stakeholders and executive-level decision-makers, aligning unique organizational insights with key customer priorities.
Pipeline & Process Execution: Maintain a consistent, predictable sales pipeline by tracking all activities within Salesforce, managing timely and detailed responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and conducting ongoing competitive market research.
Contract & Revenue Negotiation: Lead the end-to-end negotiation process for solution proposals, pricing structures, profitability, liability, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to successfully meet and exceed sales quotas.
The ideal candidate will have:
4 to 7 years of experience in strategic account management, complex sales processes, and solution selling.
Strong knowledge of vertical market business challenges, macro/microeconomic climates, and emerging industry trends in information management.
Proven ability in advanced sales methodologies, such as Challenger Selling and Power Messaging, to effectively challenge assumptions and create demand in complex environments.
A 4-year College Degree or equivalent professional experience.
Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to team effectively at all levels of personnel, including executive leadership (C-suite).
Ability to travel up to 25%.
