Synopsis of the role
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Account Executive with a proven track record of success in selling complex solutions to major telecommunications companies. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key Telco accounts, forging C-level relationships, and developing strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the telecommunications landscape, including its unique business challenges, competitive dynamics, and technological trends. You will be a strategic partner to our clients, helping them solve their most pressing problems and accelerate their growth.
The Sales Account Executive will maximize new business and existing revenue; manage developing accounts; increase, maintain and secure existing revenue by utilizing Solution Selling processes. Develop and implement specific account strategy plans to win significant revenues from existing specified accounts, target accounts and new business opportunities. You will manage client contracts to deliver renewals and revenue increases through up-sell and revenue management.
What you’ll do
Overall customer & relationship accountability, responsible for account and segment strategy and coordination.
Grow revenue through new business by initiating prospecting activities, identifying critical players in the account, providing guidance and orchestrating resources to ensure seamless execution
Thinks and acts strategically, providing thought leadership. Works with client executives to collaboratively define strategy and direction.
Provide highly customized solutions to our top strategic customers based on deep understanding and insight into customer’s business and/or industry segment to help address significant business issues and grow the revenue stream.
Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to understand client challenges and pain points, then craft and present compelling, tailored solutions that align with their business goals.
Work collaboratively and act as a leader for sales teams, initiating and sharing new ideas and identifying solutions in support of client growth.
Is able to articulate the objectives, strategies and tactics associated with meeting both client needs and Equifax objectives.
Establishes multiple relationships within client organizations across all aspects of the decision making process.
Manages complex negotiations for multi-year agreements, working closely with various departments within Equifax to maximize revenue and profitability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with a team of solutions architects, product specialists/consultants, and marketing to orchestrate a seamless sales process and deliver exceptional value.
What experience you need
Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in the managing and developing accounts
Minimum of 3-5 years managing large scale, Enterprise clients/accounts with previous experience in Telco
Extensive experience in prospecting, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing deals with C-level decision-makers
Experience in Increasing, maintaining and securing existing revenue by utilizing Solution Selling processes
Forecasting & Reporting: Ability to maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline data in CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and provide regular performance reports to leadership
Experience with complex procurement processes (supply arrangements/RFPs) and regulations
Experienced in keeping abreast of new innovations, applications, technical changes, market conditions, emerging trends and initiatives involving competitive activities.
