This role will focus entirely on capturing new market share and managing strategic named accounts across enterprise industries excluding Manufacturing and Automotive (focusing heavily on high-potential sectors such as Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, Logistics, and Utilities).

  • Language Requirements: Native-level/Fluent Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) and Business-level English

Key Responsibilities (職務内容)

As a Senior Account Executive, you will act as a high-level business orchestrator, driving the entire sales lifecycle from initial discovery and complex consensus-building (Ringisho) to final close.

  • New Logo Acquisition & Hunting: Proactively uncover, qualify, and capture new enterprise selling opportunities within your assigned geographic territory and target prospect list.

  • C-Suite Relationship Building: Cultivate trusted, long-term relationships with C-level executives (CIOs, CTOs, CDOs) across both business units and IT divisions within strategic named accounts.

  • Strategic Partner Co-Selling: Partner extensively with major Global and Local System Integrators (SIers), Channel, and Alliance partners to build a scalable "sell-with" and "sell-through" ecosystem.

  • Value-Based Selling: Masterfully articulate the OutSystems value proposition. Leverage business-level ROI (Return on Investment) and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) frameworks to align platform capabilities with the client's strategic business outcomes.

  • Complex Deal Architecture: Lead and execute a rigorous sales process that effectively validates technical and business requirements, addresses objections, and successfully negotiates high-value enterprise contracts.

  • Territory & Account Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive quarterly and annual regional sales plan, ensuring consistent quota achievement and sustainable pipeline growth.

Qualifications & Requirements (応募資格・条件)

We are seeking a highly self-driven, consultative sales professional with a deep network and an established track record in the Japanese software market.

  • Enterprise Sales Experience: 10+ years of direct enterprise software sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas within the Japanese market.

  • Domain Expertise: 3+ years of specialized experience selling Application Development platforms, SaaS, PaaS, or advanced Cloud offerings.

  • Partner Ecosystem Mastery: Proven success co-selling and building strategic pipeline alongside prominent local and global Japanese System Integrators (SIers) and trading houses.

  • Strategic Mindset: Strong technical sales background with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and translate technical architectures into compelling executive business value.

  • Network & Autonomy: Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently, leveraging an existing professional network to uncover hidden enterprise opportunities.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Language Proficiency:

    • Japanese: Native or bilingual fluency (written and verbal). Elite mastery of professional business etiquette (Keigo) is mandatory for managing enterprise accounts and negotiating with C-level stakeholders.

    • English: Casual-level proficiency (written and verbal) to effectively collaborate with APAC regional leadership and global support teams.
