We are seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Sport team at Marsh. This role will be based in Melbourne. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
You will support the Managing Principal & Principal across Tier 1 Corporate Sport accounts, and lead your own sporting accounts that are part of the broader client portfolio. This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial broking experience who enjoys client service, relationship management and has a passion for sport and sport industry.
We will count on you to:
- Support the Managing Principal and Principal with day-to-day management of Tier 1 Corporate Sport clients, including client service, renewal planning and account administration as first point of contact.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing clear advice on risk exposures and suitable insurance solutions
- Prepare submissions and present market updates, renewal strategy presentations, and placement recommendations to client stakeholders
- Prepare premium allocation model, invoicing instructions, and Debtor Control.
- Work with Marsh placement and product specialists to progress renewals and placements in line with client instructions
- Contribute to new business opportunities, retention activity and portfolio growth through tailored solutions and relationship building
- Participate in development opportunities such as major projects and committee presentations
- Ensure claims detail is regularly updated and prepared for client discussion.
What you need to have:
- Demonstrated experience in a commercial insurance or broking environment, with exposure to general insurance lines
- Around 5 years’ experience in client service or account management in an insurance broking setting
- An insurance broker qualification
- Proven ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders at multiple levels, together with well-developed organisational skills to prioritise work, manage competing deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
