Position Overview
  • Role Title: Senior Account Executive (South Korea)

  • Location: Seoul, South Korea (Hybrid/Office-based)

  • Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (정규직 - Jeong-gyu-jik)

  • Language Requirements:
    -> Native-level fluency in Korean (written and verbal) is mandatory, with absolute mastery of professional business etiquette and honorifics.
    -> Business-level fluency in English is required

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Account Executive, you will take ownership of the full enterprise sales cycle, acting as the strategic quarterback for high-value accounts across South Korea.

  • Enterprise Market Expansion: Proactively hunt, strategically map, and secure new logos within the large enterprise, manufacturing, finance, and conglomerate sectors across South Korea.

  • Executive Boardroom Engagement: Cultivate enduring, high-trust relationships. Engage seamlessly with C-level executives (CEOs, CIOs, CTOs) to align OutSystems' capabilities with their paramount business objectives, respecting local corporate culture and hierarchy.

  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive, multi-year account plans. Navigate complex organizational matrices to identify all key stakeholders and build the broad consensus required in Korean corporate decision-making.

  • Ecosystem & SI Collaboration: Partner closely with South Korea’s leading System Integrators (SIs) and channel partners. The SI ecosystem is deeply embedded in the Korean IT market; you will jointly go to market to close large-scale transformational deals.

  • Complex Sales Cycle Management: Orchestrate high-value, complex enterprise sales cycles. Expertly navigate extensive procurement processes, rigorous vendor accreditations, and legal negotiations typical of top-tier Korean corporations.

  • Value Orchestration: Drive multi-threaded campaigns. Collaborate internally with Solution Architects, Customer Success, and global executive sponsors to demonstrate massive ROI, scalability, and strategic value to the client.

Qualifications

We are looking for a highly sophisticated, achievement-driven professional with a proven history of closing complex deals and a profound understanding of the local enterprise ecosystem.

  • Professional Experience: 7 to 10+ years of quota-carrying enterprise software (SaaS/PaaS) sales experience, with a demonstrable track record of consistently exceeding targets in the South Korean enterprise space.

  • Enterprise Expertise: Extensive experience selling into large, complex organizations, specifically top-tier local conglomerates (Chaebols), major telecommunications firms, automotive, and high-tech manufacturing companies.

  • Sales Strategy: Mastery of enterprise sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Value Selling). Proven ability to orchestrate complex consensus-building among highly diverse buying committees in a Korean business context.

  • Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud computing, and digital transformation drivers. Ability to clearly articulate how emerging AI and low-code technologies solve board-level business problems.

  • Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional executive presence, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to handle high-stakes negotiations and overcome sophisticated objections with authority and cultural tact.

  • Cultural & Market Insight: Deep, established network within the Seoul executive community. A profound understanding of local corporate dynamics, relationship-building, and long-term partnership cultivation.
