About the role

We are expanding our Consumer Sales Team and seeking a Senior Account Executive who is eager to drive impact & grow our key partnerships. We are at the forefront of innovating the ad-tech ecosystem, and Merryfield is quickly becoming rapidly adopted by CPG industry leaders. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience selling digital, mobile, or media advertising solutions into CPG or shopper marketing agencies
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, advertising or other related fields
  • Experience building business with executive-level contacts and co-selling with cross functional partners
  • Experience operating within goals and metrics of a standard sales organization, as well as exceeding said revenue goals and targets in a structured environment 
  • Experience exploring and hunting for new sales opportunities; and in turn, nurturing those into strategic, complex deals and partnerships
  • Excellent communication skills, customer service, project management, analytical and organizational skills
  • Desire to achieve excellence across the entire sales spectrum (i.e., email, cold calls, presentations, etc.)

What a typical week might look like

  • Establish and grow CPG relationships with advertisers and shopper marketing agencies to educate them on our powerful commerce platform
  • Own a sales pipeline in Salesforce and manage leads and opportunities, by generating and maintaining an excellent pipeline and opportunity progression  
  • Partner closely with internal teams to build solutions needed to grow our business (including, but not limited to; sales operations, product, engineering)
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations that educate prospective clients on Merryfield’s value proposition, roadmap, and partnership opportunities 
  • Maintain frequent touchpoints with clients at all stages of the sales cycle, with a high level of customer service
  • Own, track, plan and prepare your week, month and quarter to align and exceed sales metrics and targets
  • Travel and participate in industry events and conferences

At the end of your first year, you’ll have helped us

  • Identify our core and target customer and explain our value proposition with a variety of perspectives based on customer needs
  • Anticipate future needs and strategize with Merryfield's key customers
  • Achieve increased revenue generated from your book of business, while also maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and retention
  • Have established strong relationships with key decision-makers and implemented successful campaigns and initiatives that demonstrate Merryfield’s unique value and impact
