Responsibilities:
- Attend internal and client meetings; capture notes, track action items and help maintain program momentum.
- Support executive social media content and strategy.
- Support stakeholder engagement strategy through research, mapping and ongoing tracking.
- Help build editorial calendars, campaign planning slides and briefing memos for high-profile events, business milestones and executive thought leadership.
- Monitor media coverage, flag reputational risks and surface opportunities to elevate key messages.
- Build and maintain media lists; draft pitches and assist with outreach to reporters and editors across trade and top-tier outlets.
- Assist with research, insights, and writing across internal briefs and occasional new business efforts.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in marketing communications, public relations or executive visibility work. Prior energy experience is a plus.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proactive communicator comfortable following up, flagging blockers, and keeping projects on track without waiting for direction.
- Curiosity and critical thinking around energy, sustainability and social impact topics.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort navigating complex, regulated or politically sensitive issues.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills—must keep multiple workstreams moving simultaneously.
- Ability to break down complex information into simple, audience-specific messaging.
- Flexibility to switch between writing, research, planning and admin support as needed.
- Comfortable working with senior-level clients and navigating fast-paced work environments.
- Self-starter mindset willing to jump in, ask questions and learn quickly.
