Senior Account Executive - Energy and Power

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Energy and Power team at Marsh Group. This role will be based in Brisbane. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

An exceptional opportunity awaits you as a Senior Account Executive within our Energy and Power Team. In this role, you'll be at the helm of driving growth, profitability, and client satisfaction within a portfolio of complex priority accounts in the energy and power sector. Your responsibilities include nurturing and cultivating client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor, pursuing new business opportunities, and expanding the range of Marsh products and services accessible to clients. Collaborating closely with the Managing Principal, you'll provide support to their portfolio while also mentoring a group of skilled individual contributors, offering guidance to achieve objectives and support clients.

This position demands a focus on fostering strong client relationships and delivering unparalleled client service within the energy and power industry. This involves regular interaction with your portfolio, managing risk and insurance program renewals, and working closely with your team. Collaborating closely with the senior members of the team, you will provide support to their portfolio.

  • Develop, implement, and achieve risk management and insurance programs that address client needs accurately in the energy and power sector
  • Cultivate enduring relationships with key client decision makers
  • Expand and retain a portfolio of high-yield accounts in the energy and power sector
  • Stay attuned to significant claim matters and assist in negotiating settlements
  • Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of relevant regulations and acts in the energy and power sector
  • Foster meaningful relationships with insurers, clients, and diverse Marsh colleagues

  • Excellence in client service; experience in the energy and power sector is preferable
  • Adaptability to change and familiarity with internal company technology and product capabilities
  • Planning and organisation skills
  • Initiative & self-motivation to achieve organisational goals
