As an Ab Initio Developer, you will play an important role in building and strengthening enterprise data integration capabilities that support high-impact programs. Credence has an immediate need for a Ab Initio Developer to join our team supporting the modernization of an existing DoD system to the Ab Initio platform. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide strategic direction, technical expertise, and ensure the solution meets the specific needs of the government. This role is slated to begin onboarding in October 2026.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Ab Initio ETL workflows for enterprise data integration.
- Build and optimize data pipelines across databases, APIs, and legacy systems.
- Troubleshoot, test, and validate ETL jobs to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Document ETL processes and support compliance with quality and change management standards.
- Support the modernization of legacy business rules onto the Ab Initio business rules engine (BRE).
RequirementsRequired Qualifications
- 5+ years of ETL and data integration experience in enterprise environments.
- 5+ years of development experience, including at least 1 year of Ab Initio development experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Ab Initio GDE, Conduct>IT, Express>IT, and EME.
- Experience building integrations across APIs, legacy systems, and heterogeneous data sources, with the ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize large-scale ETL workflows.
- Familiar with working in an Agile development environment.
- Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) to support Low-Code development models
- Active security clearance.
- Active DoD 8570 IAT I certification, such as A+ or SSCA.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Experience in federal environments.
- Experience working with business analysts and technical leads.
