Job Description:
We are seeking experienced AS/400 MAPICS Developer to join a dynamic team supporting mission-critical operations in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AS/400 development, data integration, and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance AS/400 applications using RPG, CL, and SQL.
Work closely with manufacturing teams to support and enhance functionalities related to:
- Process Orders
- Routings
- Locations
- Inventory Management
- Perform data mapping and integration between AS/400 MAPICS ERP and MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
- Utilize GoAnywhere MFT for secure file transfers and automate data workflows.
- Read, create, and manage JSON files for data exchange between systems.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of ERP functionalities supporting production operations.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in AS/400 development (RPG, CL, SQL).
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a solid understanding of production processes and inventory systems.
- Strong expertise in data mapping between systems and integrating ERP with MES.
- Experience using GoAnywhere MFT for managed file transfers.
- Proficiency in handling JSON files for data transactions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Additional Information:
Preference for candidates who can overlap work hours with EST mornings, ideally until 11:00 AM EST.
