Job Description

• Create and integrate high-quality rigs for various game assets (characters, creatures, environment, etc.) in Maya and 3ds Max for game engine compatibility.
• Act as a bridge among Animators and various game teams to develop engaging gameplay animation system, best practices and on-time delivery.
• Debug issues and advocate for best animation practices.
• Design, maintain and troubleshoot animation tools and adapt animation pipelines considering project's technical constraint.
• Inspire, coach animators and provide technical assistance when needed, while ensuring the accuracy of task status reporting.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in the gaming industry with a background in animation or related field.
• Proficient in Maya, 3ds Max, Unity, and Unreal, with programming skills in Python and C#; familiarity with Maxscript and MEL.
• Proficiency in rigging, skinning with ability to do complex rigs (bone based & blendshapes), animation, and integration workflows.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy, proportion, perspective, composition, color, shading, lighting, and post-processing.
• Advanced knowledge of character motion, physics-based motion, and the fundamental principles of animation
• Excellent problem-solving and English communication skills for artistic and technical challenges.
• Demonstrates strong mindset, commitment, flexibility, self-discipline, teamwork, and a passion for video games.

• Work hours: 08:30 AM - 06:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
