JOB SUMMARY
To collaborate with their assigned SEND Network Regional Field Staff to mobilize churches to plant more Spanish speaking churches and to help recruit, equip, assess, and care for Spanish speaking church planters.

Skills Required
- Meet biblical qualifications to serve in the Senior Pastor role (1 Timothy 3:1-15) and Article 6 of the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or four or more years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Understanding of the Southern Baptist Convention, Baptist doctrine, history, polity, and interrelationships of SBC agencies, state conventions, associations, and churches.
- Seminary degree.
- Evidence of a mature and growing Christian walk consistent with 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
- Ability to mobilize churches to plant Spanish-speaking churches and to recruit, equip, assess, and care for Spanish-speaking church planters.
- Can effectively lead others in prayer, model a daily soul-winning lifestyle, and articulate Baptist theological understandings.
- Demonstrates personal qualities: integrity, healthy relationships, financial responsibility, energy, positive interpersonal skills, and modest deportment.
- Physical ability to meet the position's physical requirements.
- Is a member of a local Southern Baptist church and takes an active role as time permits.
What We Do
North American Mission Board (NAMB) is the Southern Baptist Convention’s missions agency focused on evangelism, church planting, and compassion ministries across North America. NAMB sends and supports missionaries, chaplains, and church planters, providing resources, training, and partnership to advance gospel-focused outreach, disaster response, and community mercy ministries. It also operates member services and employment programs to help professionals join and sustain mission work.
